Sesostris Shriners

Sesostris Shrine has been providing quality services and helping children since our founding in 1888. Sesostris Shriners are known for their philanthropic efforts. We transport children with orthopedic conditions and their families to Shriners Children’s Twin Cities Clinic in Woodbury, Minnesota, and back again ensuring that these children have access to the highest quality of care at no cost to their families.

Since 1958, Sesostris Shrine has participated in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl, which is the longest running high school all-star football game in Nebraska with all proceeds going to the Shriners Hospitals. Sesostris Shriners are Having Fun in ’21. We have enjoyed good music and food at our annual Shrine Unplugged, FAC’s, pancake feed with bloody marys and mimosas, Mardi Gras party, golf tournaments, wine, beer, and spirits tasting, a Cruis’n Classics Car Show, and music and ribs at the annual Shrine Stock. In addition, Sesostris Shriners participate in over a dozen parades in Nebraska communities.

Sesostris Shriners sponsor events for their children and grandchildren, including an Easter egg hunt, family picnic, Halloween party, and Christmas party with Santa each year. Fundraisers that the Shriners do each year include the traditional Shrine Circus in the spring, a “huge” Garage Sale in the summer, and our longstanding Sportsmen’s Raffle in the fall.
