The 53rd Shrine Shrine Center granted a charter on June 9, 1891 by the Imperial Council of the Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, at Spokane Falls, Washington. Long considered a foundation of the Inland Pacific Northwest, El Katif Shrine has always attracted the top civic, business and community leaders from throughout Eastern Washington State. Home to a number of thriving Shrine Clubs & Units such as the Columbia Basin Shrine Club, the “MoonShriners” and the Shriners Children's “Greeters”, El Katif Shrine Center now resides in a beautiful, state-of-the-art Event Center alongside I-90 just west of Spokane. Our primary philanthropy remains our beloved Shriners Hospital for Children.
