Founded in 1887, the Shrine Center was named after the Egyptian goddess Isis, who was known as "The one who gives birth to heaven and earth, knows the orphan, knows the widow, seeks justice for the poor, and shelter for the weak." The Shrine Center is made up of Shrine Masons from 43 counties throughout Central and Western Kansas. Their hard work, along with their Ladies and families, works tirelessly to ensure a better future for children and their families. The ISIS Shrine has over 800 Shrine Masons that supports Shriners International, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and pays for travel expenses of patients and their parent/guardian.
