Kosair for Kids Shriner Leaders Conference

Members Benefit from Kosair for Kids Shrine Leaders Conference
Charles E. Maddox:
I would tell other Shriners the benefits of this conference are being able to exchange ideas. One, not only to network with their counterparts and Imperial officers, but two, to try to figure out what they don't know.
Emily Maddox:
You don't really know what you don't know until you listen and share ideas with your counterparts.
Steven Livernash:
It's a chance where all my counterparts from around the world can get together at the same time, and we can discuss various things that are happening with different Temples and we all face different challenges.
Rhonda Denney:
In the grand scheme of things, we all have some very similar issues, and so it's been great just to be able to problem solve and do some strategizing, and then come up with some ideas that maybe we can take back to our Shrine.
Keith Jones:
The opportunity to be placed in a bubble where we're all focused on the same thing, to not only focus on this job, but also focus on it with a bunch of brothers around the country who are also on the same journey.
Scott Denney:
I enjoy the fact that the people that are here from Shriners International are so dedicated to what we're doing. They're dedicated to making sure that we become the best servant leaders that we can be.
Steven Livernash:
I think a great leader represents all the nobility, not just your point of view and what you want to get across for your year. It's all about the awareness of other people's ideas and how you can incorporate them to make your nobility and your Temple a better place for the future.
Emily Maddox:
I think a great leader is someone who doesn't assume that they know everything. It's important that you're willing to listen to your counterparts, to your Nobles, to the ladies. It's important to be flexible, to be a good leader.
Charles E. Maddox:
Being able to think outside the box and learn how to think outside the box. Being able to figure out what plans they need to make in order to succeed as leaders within their Temples.
